Bill Plovanic is a Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst covering Medical Technology. Bill has a unique combination of capital markets and corporate experience with over 20 years as a sell-side analyst and five years of operational and board roles, providing a very differentiated perspective. From 2016 through 2021, he served in both C-level operational and board roles for a publicly traded medical device company through its sale. Prior to his corporate experience, Bill worked as a medical technology equity analyst for 20 years, nine of which were with Canaccord and six with First Albany. Bill rejoined Canaccord as a medical technology analyst in 2020 where he is currently responsible for all US medical technology coverage. He graduated from Bradley University with a BS in finance and is a long-time CFA® charterholder.
