Ed Chin D.Ph., M.B.A. is currently a Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs at Medtronic Spinal based in Memphis. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Memphis, a Tennessee Doctor of Pharmacy license, and is a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
At Medtronic Spinal, he has held positions in Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs management and is experienced with FDA Medical Device / Pharma submissions, Quality System regulations, European Union Medical Device Directives, Notified Body applications and certifications, domestic and international inspections / audits, and acquisition / integration activities. Additionally, he is a member of numerous spinal Product and Project Review Committees, Medtronic taskforces, and a Board Member / Treasurer of the Orthopedic Surgical Manufacturers Association (OSMA), an orthopedic trade association.
