Dave Illingworth became President of Smith & Nephew Orthopedics in May 2002. The company is a world leader in providing trauma, hip, knee and shoulder products. Under his leadership, the Orthopedic unit continues to grow and remain the fastest growing full-line orthopedics company for the fourth consecutive year. Mr. Illingworth’s previous experiences included executive positions at GE Medical Systems and Nellcor Puritan Bennett’s Alternate Care Business, among others. Mr. Illingworth is a graduate of Texas A & M University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
