Dr. John Warmath joined Wright in 2008 focused on M&A and corporate strategy and has participated in numerous acquisitions totaling over $1B. Since 2012, Wright has aggressively transformed itself into a market leader in orthopedic extremities by completing multiple acquisitions, divesting non-core assets, and more than doubling its
size through the $3.3B merger with Tornier.
John spent over five years focused on International expansion, both as a member of the Business Development and International Commercial teams. He has led and managed transactions in multiple countries including two $80M+ acquisitions and the divestiture of Tornier’s hip & knee business, all in France.
Prior to joining Wright, John worked in management consulting and was involved in the start-up of a venture-backed medical device company.
Dr. Warmath holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
