ABANZA has developed a new and disruptive alternative platform for arthroscopic soft tissue fixation. The first product launched is the FDA-cleared WasherCap TM , which offers a stronger and more rigid fixation for soft tissue grafts during ACL reconstruction surgery, without depending on the quality of the patient’s bone. While initial indication for the WasherCap TM have focused on ACL reconstruction, the company’s platform is launching new fixation devices for several anatomic areas, including meniscus, foot and ankle, biceps tenodesis, hand and wrist, hip and shoulder. ABANZA is developing a variety of surgical solutions as it seeks to become a reference in soft tissue and sports medicine repair procedures.
