2. Eligibility

MNVC.org and MNVC conference registration are intended for adults who are at least 18 years old.

By using the website or registering for an MNVC event, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • The information you provide is complete and accurate; and
  • You are authorized to make the payment and registration selections submitted.

Individuals under 18 may not register for an MNVC event unless MNVC provides prior written authorization and any required parent or guardian documentation.

3. Website Use

You may use MNVC.org only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

You may not:

  • Use the website in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, registration system, or another user’s information;
  • Interfere with the security or proper operation of the website;
  • Introduce viruses, malware, harmful code, or automated attacks;
  • Scrape, harvest, copy, or collect website or attendee information without written permission;
  • Impersonate another person or organization;
  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized registration information;
  • Use MNVC content, names, logos, or materials for unauthorized commercial purposes;
  • Reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish protected website content without permission; or
  • Use the website in a way that could damage MNVC, its service providers, sponsors, speakers, attendees, or partners.

MNVC may restrict or terminate access to the website when it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.

4. Conference Registration

Registration is subject to availability and is not complete until:

  1. The required registration information has been submitted;
  2. Payment has been successfully processed, unless another arrangement has been approved in writing; and
  3. MNVC has issued a registration confirmation.

Each attendee must complete an individual registration unless MNVC provides another process in writing.

You are responsible for reviewing your registration information before submitting it. Contact info@mnvc.org promptly if information needs to be corrected.

MNVC may establish different registration categories, eligibility requirements, pricing, deadlines, and benefits for:

  • Business attendees;
  • Presenters;
  • Students;
  • Sponsors;
  • Guests;
  • Speakers; or
  • Other participant groups.

You agree to select the registration category for which you are eligible. MNVC may request documentation to verify eligibility for a discounted or restricted registration category.

5. Registration Prices and Fees

Registration prices are displayed on MNVC.org or communicated through an authorized MNVC registration document.

Before submitting payment, you are responsible for reviewing:

  • The registration category;
  • The registration price;
  • Administrative or processing fees;
  • Optional event selections;
  • Applicable taxes, if any;
  • Cancellation and refund terms; and
  • The total amount to be charged.

MNVC may correct typographical, pricing, technical, or registration errors. If an error affects a completed registration, MNVC may contact the registrant to offer a correction, additional payment request, refund, or cancellation.

MNVC does not guarantee that a registration displayed as available will remain available until payment is completed.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider selected by MNVC.

By submitting payment information, you:

  • Represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method;
  • Authorize the payment processor to charge the displayed amount;
  • Agree to provide accurate billing information; and
  • Agree to any applicable terms imposed by the payment processor.

MNVC does not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.

Payment processing may be subject to Stripe’s own terms, privacy notice, fraud controls, and security procedures. MNVC is not responsible for outages, declined transactions, account restrictions, or other actions independently taken by the payment processor.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or charged back, MNVC may suspend or cancel the related registration until payment is resolved.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All refund requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing;
  • Be emailed to info@mnvc.org and
  • Be received no later than October 1, 2026.

Approved registration refunds will be subject to the following administrative fees:

  • Business Attendee: $150 administrative fee
  • Presenter: $100 administrative fee
  • Student Registrant: $30 administrative fee

Refunds will not be issued for cancellation requests received after October 1, 2026.

Failure to attend the conference does not entitle a registrant to a refund.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on MNVC’s payment processor and the registrant’s financial institution.

Registration fees, processing fees, administrative fees, travel costs, lodging costs, and other expenses are separate unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Registration Substitutions

A registrant may request a substitution by another person from the same company or organization.

Substitution requests:

  • Must be submitted in writing to info@mnvc.org
  • May be submitted at any time before the conference without an MNVC substitution penalty;
  • Must identify the original registrant and replacement attendee; and
  • Are subject to eligibility requirements for the applicable registration category.

MNVC may require the replacement attendee to complete a registration form, accept these Terms and Conditions, and provide information needed for conference administration.

A substitution does not entitle the original registrant or replacement attendee to a refund.

9. Conference Changes and Cancellation by MNVC

Conference schedules, speakers, presenters, session topics, venues, receptions, meals, transportation arrangements, and other program details may change.

MNVC reserves the right to:

  • Change the schedule or format;
  • Substitute or remove speakers;
  • Modify session topics;
  • Change conference rooms or venues;
  • Modify food, beverage, transportation, or reception arrangements;
  • Limit attendance;
  • Move all or part of the conference online;
  • Postpone the conference; or
  • Cancel the conference.

MNVC will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes using the contact information provided during registration.

A change in a speaker, presentation, schedule, venue room, meal, reception, or other individual program element will not ordinarily qualify the registrant for a refund.

10. Force Majeure

MNVC will not be liable for delay, modification, postponement, interruption, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

These circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather or natural disasters;
  • Fire, flood, earthquake, or other casualty;
  • Epidemic, pandemic, or public-health emergency;
  • Government order or regulatory restriction;
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or threat to public safety;
  • Transportation disruption;
  • Labor dispute;
  • Utility, telecommunications, or internet failure;
  • Venue closure or unavailability;
  • Speaker illness or emergency;
  • Cyberattack or widespread technology failure; or
  • Any other circumstance that makes holding the event illegal, unsafe, impracticable, or commercially unreasonable.

If an event is postponed, transferred online, or rescheduled because of circumstances beyond MNVC’s reasonable control, MNVC may apply the registration to the revised event rather than issue a refund.

If MNVC cancels the entire conference and does not provide a replacement event, MNVC will determine and communicate the available refund or credit process.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MNVC is not responsible for travel, lodging, airfare, transportation, meal, lost-time, or other expenses incurred by an attendee.

11. Travel and Accommodations

Attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own:

  • Transportation;
  • Airfare;
  • Hotel accommodations;
  • Parking;
  • Meals not expressly included;
  • Travel documentation;
  • Insurance; and
  • Incidental expenses.

References or links to hotels, airlines, transportation services, or other travel providers are provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these providers are independent third parties and are not controlled by MNVC.

MNVC is not responsible for a third party’s availability, pricing, cancellation terms, service quality, losses, delays, or conduct.

Attendees are encouraged to review cancellation terms and consider appropriate travel insurance.

12. Admission and Credentials

Conference badges, tickets, passes, and credentials are personal to the registered attendee and may not be sold, copied, transferred, or shared except through an approved registration substitution.

Attendees may be required to display their conference badge while attending MNVC activities.

MNVC may deny admission or remove an attendee whose registration has not been paid, whose credentials are invalid, or whose conduct violates these Terms.

Lost or damaged credentials should be reported promptly. Replacement credentials may be subject to identity verification or a replacement fee.

13. Attendee Conduct

MNVC is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, inclusive, and safe conference environment.

Attendees must not engage in:

  • Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threats;
  • Abusive, disruptive, or dangerous behavior;
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or inappropriate physical contact;
  • Conduct that interferes with presentations or other attendees;
  • Unauthorized sales or solicitation;
  • Unauthorized distribution of promotional materials;
  • Theft, vandalism, or damage to property;
  • Illegal drug use or unlawful activity;
  • Excessive intoxication;
  • Unauthorized access to restricted areas;
  • Recording in violation of these Terms; or
  • Conduct that creates a health, security, or safety risk.

Attendees must comply with reasonable instructions from MNVC staff, venue personnel, security personnel, and emergency responders.

MNVC may deny admission, revoke credentials, or remove an attendee without a refund when MNVC reasonably determines that the attendee has violated these Terms or created a safety or operational concern.

Serious conduct may also be reported to venue security, law enforcement, an employer, or another appropriate authority.

14. Professional and Medical Disclaimer

MNVC provides educational, informational, networking, and professional-development programming.

Conference presentations, discussions, demonstrations, exhibits, and website content:

  • Are provided for general informational and educational purposes;

  • Do not constitute legal, financial, investment, or regulatory advice;
  • Should not replace consultation with qualified professionals; and
  • May express the independent views of speakers, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, or attendees.

MNVC does not endorse or guarantee every statement, product, service, investment opportunity, medical device, treatment, company, presenter, sponsor, or attendee represented at the conference.

Participants are responsible for conducting their own professional, clinical, legal, financial, regulatory, and investment due diligence.

15. No Investment Offer or Guarantee

Conference content may include discussion of companies, technologies, products, financing, investments, transactions, or commercial opportunities.

Nothing presented through MNVC.org or at an MNVC event constitutes:

  • An offer to sell securities;
  • A solicitation to purchase securities;
  • An investment recommendation;
  • A guarantee of financing;
  • A guarantee of commercial success; or
  • A guarantee regarding the accuracy, performance, safety, approval, or marketability of a product or company.

Any investment or business decision is made solely at the participant’s own risk and should be evaluated with qualified advisers.

16. Speakers, Presenters and Sponsors

Speakers, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, and other participants are responsible for their own statements, materials, claims, demonstrations, products, and services.

Participation in MNVC does not necessarily represent MNVC’s endorsement, certification, approval, or recommendation.

MNVC does not guarantee:

  • Attendance at a presentation;
  • Business introductions;
  • Investment opportunities;
  • Sales leads;
  • Financing;
  • Partnerships;
  • Regulatory approval;
  • Media exposure; or
  • Any specific commercial result.

Separate agreements may apply to speakers, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, or service providers. When a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement will control for the specific subject it addresses.

17. Photography, Video and Audio Recording

MNVC may photograph, film, livestream, or otherwise record conference activities.

By attending an MNVC event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, video, audio, or other recordings taken in public or group settings.

To the extent permitted by law, you authorize MNVC and its authorized contractors to use such recordings for lawful conference-related purposes, including:

  • org;
  • Social media;
  • Email marketing;
  • Printed materials;
  • Conference recaps;
  • Advertising;
  • Public relations;
  • Educational materials; and
  • Promotion of future events.

You understand that such use may occur without additional notice or compensation.

MNVC will consider reasonable requests from attendees who do not wish to be featured in identifiable photographs or recordings. Such requests should be submitted to info@mnvc.org before the conference and communicated to an MNVC representative at the event.

MNVC cannot guarantee that an attendee will be excluded from incidental crowd, background, or venue photography.

18. Attendee Photography and Recording

Unless MNVC or the presenter expressly permits it, attendees may not:

  • Record complete presentations;
  • Livestream sessions;
  • Reproduce presentation slides;
  • Record confidential discussions;
  • Photograph restricted materials;
  • Use recordings for commercial purposes; or
  • Record another individual in violation of applicable law or their reasonable privacy expectations.

Limited personal photography may be permitted when it does not disrupt the conference, infringe intellectual-property rights, disclose confidential information, or violate a speaker’s instructions.

MNVC may prohibit photography or recording in designated sessions or areas.

19. Confidential and Proprietary Information

Conference attendees may encounter information relating to developing technologies, companies, investments, products, research, or business plans.

MNVC does not guarantee that conference discussions are confidential unless a separate written confidentiality agreement applies.

Presenters and attendees are responsible for determining what information they choose to disclose and for obtaining any confidentiality, nondisclosure, patent, intellectual-property, regulatory, or other protection they consider necessary.

MNVC is not responsible for another participant’s use or disclosure of information presented or discussed at the conference.

20. Intellectual Property

MNVC.org and conference materials may contain content owned by MNVC, speakers, presenters, sponsors, licensors, or other rights holders.

Protected content may include:

  • Names and logos;
  • Text;
  • Photographs;
  • Videos;
  • Graphics;
  • Conference branding;
  • Presentation slides;
  • Session recordings;
  • Program materials;
  • Website design;
  • Documents; and
  • Downloadable resources.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, sell, license, display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected content without permission from the applicable rights holder.

Registration or attendance does not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights.

“MNVC,” “Musculoskeletal New Ventures Conference,” related logos, and associated branding may not be used in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without written permission.

21. Information Submitted to MNVC

You retain ownership of information and materials you submit, subject to any separate presenter, sponsor, or speaker agreement.

By submitting ordinary registration information, inquiries, feedback, testimonials, photographs, biographies, company descriptions, or similar materials, you grant MNVC the limited rights reasonably necessary to:

  • Process the submission;
  • Administer the conference;
  • Communicate with you;
  • Publish materials you requested or authorized for publication;
  • Promote the conference when permission has been provided; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

You represent that you have the right to submit the information and that its use as authorized will not violate another person’s rights.

Do not submit confidential patient information, protected health information, trade secrets, or other sensitive information through general website forms.

22. Privacy

MNVC’s collection and use of personal information are described in the MNVC Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By submitting information through MNVC.org, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

MNVC does not sell personal information, provide attendee email addresses to sponsors, or publish a public attendee directory based on its stated current practices.

23. Email Communications

Registrants will receive administrative and transactional communications related to:

  • Registration;
  • Payment;
  • Conference schedules;
  • Venue information;
  • Program changes;
  • Cancellations;
  • Refunds; and
  • Other necessary event matters.

Promotional communications should provide an unsubscribe method as required by applicable law.

Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent MNVC from sending necessary transactional or administrative communications concerning an active registration.

Where separate marketing consent is legally required, MNVC will request that consent separately.

24. Third-Party Websites and Services

MNVC.org may link to or integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Stripe;
  • Hotels and venues;
  • Transportation providers;
  • Social-media platforms;
  • Speakers’ or sponsors’ websites;

  • Other external resources.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

MNVC does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, content, security, availability, products, statements, or business practices.

A link or reference does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

25. Website Availability and Accuracy

MNVC attempts to provide useful and accurate website and conference information, but it does not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available;
  • The website will be free from errors or interruptions;
  • All content will be current or complete;
  • Registration functions will operate without interruption;
  • Digital content will be free from harmful components; or
  • Every error will be corrected immediately.

Website content, conference information, pricing, schedules, and availability may be updated without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, internet access, and backups of information important to you.

26. Accessibility

MNVC is committed to providing reasonable access to its website and conference activities.

Individuals who encounter a website-accessibility issue or need a reasonable conference accommodation should contact:

Email: info@mnvc.org
Phone: 901-246-6807

Accommodation requests should be submitted as early as reasonably possible so MNVC can evaluate and coordinate the request.

MNVC will consider reasonable accommodation requests in accordance with applicable law. The availability of a particular accommodation may depend on the request, venue, timing, available resources, and whether the accommodation would fundamentally alter the event or create an undue burden.

27. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MNVC.org, conference content, materials, registrations, and events are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

MNVC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of:

  • Merchantability;
  • Fitness for a particular purpose;
  • Noninfringement;
  • Accuracy;
  • Reliability;
  • Availability; and
  •

MNVC does not warrant or guarantee any particular educational, professional, medical, investment, networking, business, or commercial outcome.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this provision may not apply to you.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MNVC Events LLC and its owners, managers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, venues, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to:

  • Use or inability to use MNVC.org;
  • Conference registration;
  • Attendance or inability to attend;
  • Schedule or speaker changes;
  • Third-party conduct;
  • Travel or lodging arrangements;
  • Loss of data;
  • Lost profits or business opportunities;
  • Personal property loss;
  • Information presented at the conference; or
  • Reliance on website or conference content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MNVC’s total liability arising from a particular registration or event will not exceed the registration fees actually paid directly to MNVC by the person making the claim.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

29. Assumption of Risk

Attendance at an in-person conference involves ordinary risks associated with:

  • Travel;
  • Crowds;
  • Communicable illness;
  • Food and beverages;
  • Venue conditions;
  • Personal interactions; and
  • Participation in conference activities.

You are responsible for evaluating your own health, safety, travel, and participation needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with attending the conference, except to the extent caused by liability that cannot legally be waived.

30. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MNVC Events LLC and its owners, managers, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your unlawful conduct;
  • Your infringement of another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • Materials you submit or distribute;
  • Your misuse of the website; or
  • Your conduct at an MNVC event.

This section does not require indemnification for liability that cannot lawfully be transferred or waived.

31. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising from these Terms, MNVC.org, a conference registration, or an MNVC event must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Shelby County, Tennessee.

You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to attempt to resolve the matter informally by providing written notice to the other party.

Notices to MNVC should be sent to info@mnvc.org with the subject line Legal Notice.

32. International Users

MNVC Events LLC operates from the United States.

Individuals accessing MNVC.org or registering from another country are responsible for complying with laws applicable in their location.

Personal information may be processed in the United States as described in the MNVC Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to an individual.

33. Changes to These Terms

MNVC may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in:

  • Conference operations;
  • Registration procedures;
  • Technology;
  • Service providers;
  • Business practices; or
  • Legal requirements.

The updated Terms will be posted on MNVC.org with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Material changes affecting an existing paid registration may also be communicated using the registrant’s email address when appropriate.

The Terms in effect when a registration is submitted will generally govern that registration, except for changes required by law, changes addressing security or safety, or changes accepted by the registrant.

34. Severability

If a court determines that part of these Terms is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

35. No Waiver

MNVC’s failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision or another provision later.

36. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without MNVC’s written permission.

MNVC may assign its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, reorganization, transfer of business operations, or similar transaction.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, registration selections, cancellation policy, and any applicable written presenter, speaker, sponsor, or exhibitor agreement, constitute the agreement between you and MNVC regarding the matters they address.

A separate signed agreement will control when it expressly conflicts with these general Terms.
