Sensor Therapeutics is building the objective measurement layer for musculoskeletal recovery. Post-surgical rehab today is essentially unmonitored: after a rotator cuff repair, the surgeon hands off a protocol and has almost no visibility into whether the patient is actually loading the repair correctly over the following months. The consequence shows up in the outcomes data — re-tear rates average over 20%, and non-adherence during the rehab window is a primary driver of those failures and the revision costs that follow. MyoGuard, our wearable EMG pod, captures muscle activation and motion data in the clinic and at home, turning that black box into a continuous, quantified picture of healing that surgeons, therapists, and payers can act on. We’re entering through rotator cuff post-surgical recovery — a high-volume, high-revision, surgeon-championed segment — with a reimbursement path already established through CMS Remote Therapeutic Monitoring codes, and a data asset that extends naturally across the broader MSK continuum.
