Kip Roberts leads Business Development, Strategy, and Portfolio Management for Medtronic’s $10B Neuroscience portfolio. He partners with leaders across global businesses and clinical specialties to accelerate growth through mergers and acquisitions, licensing agreements, strategic partnerships, venture investments, portfolio management, and long-range strategic planning. Since entering healthcare in 2005, Kip has built a diverse career spanning sales, market development, product and franchise management, business development, strategy, post-merger integration, and M&A. After beginning his career at Eli Lilly & Company, where he was recognized as a two-time sales MVP, he joined Medtronic in 2008 and has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility across the organization.

Prior to his current role, Kip led Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships for Medtronic’s $4B+ Cranial & Spinal Technologies business, focusing on identifying and executing M&A opportunities. Beyond his business leadership responsibilities, Kip is passionate about talent development and helping individuals realize their full potential. He pursued executive coaching training to strengthen his ability to support leaders as they navigate career transitions, expand their impact, and achieve meaningful professional growth.
