Hyprevention has built its STRUTPLASTY technology platform, combining PEEK polymer implants with PMMA bone cement, into a commercial vertebral implant and a Breakthrough-Designated hip implant nearing U.S. clearance. Rather than fixing a fracture with hardware alone, Hyprevention’s approach reinforces bone weakened by osteoporosis or cancer from within, protecting patients against fractures before they occur or preventing further fractures after an initial injury.
