PolarisAR, Inc. is an early commercial-stage, revenue-generating medtech developing mixed reality surgical guidance systems for orthopedic surgery. Its FDA-cleared system, STELLAR Knee, is the only knee replacement guidance system delivering spatially registered holographic guidance in the surgeon’s field of view, and has been used in over 450 procedures to date. Published clinical results demonstrate alignment accuracy comparable to advanced robotic systems at a fraction of the cost. The system’s small form factor, implant-agnostic software, and per case model are well suited to the outpatient surgery center.
