Bill is the Managing Director for Life Science Research at Canaccord Adams. Prior to joining Canaccord Adams in 2007, Mr. Plovanic was Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at First Albany, covering medical devices, with a focus on orthopedic, diabetes, neurotechnology and general surgery. Previously, he worked at PMG Capital covering medical devices and products. Mr. Plovanic also worked as Director of Research for the Capital Markets Division of LaSalle St. Securities Inc., where he focused on the small-cap healthcare, technology and biotechnology industries. ‚Ä®‚Ä®Mr Plovanic has been profiled as an “All Star” Analyst in the Medical Devices Sector in 2003 and 2004 and was also highly ranked by Starmine in 2002 and 2008 for performance in the medical technology sector. He graduated from Bradley University with a BS in finance. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
